Feelings after reading Harry Potter and the Cursed Child – A strange journey into the magical world

I just finished reading Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and there are too many mixed emotions in my heart. This is not a novel like the previous seven parts, but a play - an extended story of the magical world that I have been attached to for a long time.
Although there are many mixed opinions about this work, I still cannot deny that it brings a very different feeling - familiar, new, touching but also has details that make me think a lot.

1. When the older generation grows up and is burdened by the past
The first thing that impressed me was how the story no longer revolves around Harry, Ron, and Hermione as children going on dangerous adventures. Instead, they are adults, with families, with responsibilities, and especially Harry is now not only a hero but also a father.
- Harry Potter is not perfect - We have seen Harry as a strong, determined boy, but here, Harry has difficulty being a father, especially in his relationship with Albus Severus Potter. He does not know how to connect with his son, and this makes me feel very realistic. Not every hero knows how to be a father, and not every child wants to live under the shadow of their father.
- Draco Malfoy - A character with profound changes - If Draco was always Harry's rival before, in this story, he is a father who shares the same worries as Harry. Draco's love for Scorpius really touched me. In the end, he is no longer an arrogant and hateful person, but a loving father, trying to protect his son from discrimination and baseless rumors.

2. Albus and Scorpius - A memorable friendship
The highlight of the story is the friendship between Albus Severus Potter and Scorpius Malfoy. This is not only an interesting contrast to the friendship of the previous generation (Harry and Draco), but also a relationship built on deep understanding and empathy.
- Albus Potter - The child trapped in his father's legacy - Albus is not like Harry. He is not the "Boy Who Lived", not a brave Gryffindor, and does not have the natural ability like his father. He feels trapped in the reputation of Harry Potter and is always looking for ways to prove himself. This reminds me of real-life children who also struggle with the expectations of their parents and society.
- Scorpius Malfoy - An unexpected character - Contrary to the image of the "evil Malfoy" that we used to know, Scorpius is a kind, intelligent, and slightly clumsy boy. He is not like his father and does not want to be a copy of Draco. The trauma of having to face the rumors that he is Voldemort's son makes this character more sympathetic than ever.

3. Time travel and alternate realities - A different perspective on the wizarding world
One of the most important elements of the story is time travel - a theme that has been touched on in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, but this time it is exploited in a completely different way.
- Alternate realities: When Albus and Scorpius use the Time-Turner to change the past, they create many haunting parallel realities. I felt chills when I saw a future where Cedric Diggory became a Death Eater or a world where Voldemort won and Harry died. This made me realize that a small change in the past can turn the whole world upside down.
- The cost of changing the past: Albus thought he could fix the wrongs in history, but in the end, he realized that not all tragedies can be erased. This is a powerful lesson about accepting the past and learning to live with what happened.

4. Conflict and reconciliation - When father and son understand each other better
The most emotional moment for me was when Harry and Albus were finally able to have a frank conversation with each other.
- Harry is no longer the "Chosen One", but just a father trying to understand his son.
- Albus finally realizes that his father is not perfect, but still loves and protects him in his way.
- This journey is not only about saving the world but also about the connection between two generations - between a father carrying a heavy past and a son searching for his own identity.

5. Conclusion - A new chapter in the wizarding world
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child may not be the sequel that all fans expected, but it does offer a new perspective on the magical world we love. It is not a story.
