Feelings about Harry Potter's growth and journey to becoming a father

I just re-read Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and have a very special feeling about Harry Potter's growth in this book. He is no longer the boy of adventures, no longer the hero we all know, but now he is a father, an adult with great responsibility. This makes me look back at Harry's whole journey from the beginning until now, and I want to share my feelings with you.

1. Harry - From a boy fighting the darkness to a worried father

Throughout the books, Harry has always been the one fighting against the dark forces, the one we see always facing danger and having to shoulder many things on his own. But in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Harry is no longer a young hero, but a grown man who has to face challenges not only on the battlefield but also in his personal life.

Especially when he becomes a father to Albus, Harry is no longer the one leading the adventures, but the one who has to face completely new problems - that is the relationship between father and son. The tension between him and Albus shows that Harry does not find it easy to be a father, and there are times when he feels like he has failed in his role.

2. Pressure from legacy and the role of a father

I think that when Harry becomes a father, he not only has to face old enemies, but also has to face the pressure of the legacy he brings to his children. Albus Severus Potter, Harry's son, is someone who always feels trapped in the huge shadow of his legendary father. And this makes Harry confused, not knowing how to understand and help his child.

Harry's view of the family also changes a lot, especially when he realizes that being a father cannot always be just using "love" or "protection" as he did with his friends or with himself. He has to learn to listen and respect his child's feelings, not just protect them from danger.

3. Maturity in forgiveness and understanding

What impressed me most was when Harry began to realize that the relationship between father and child is not always easy. He cannot force his child to become someone like him. Instead, Harry learns to forgive himself for his past mistakes and finds a way to create a relationship with Albus based on understanding and love.

In the end, the story between Harry and Albus is not only about making mistakes but also about the journey of accepting each other and overcoming prejudices and disappointments to rebuild a stronger relationship. Harry is no longer an orphan, no longer a hero fighting alone. He is now a caring and understanding father and also learns to forgive himself.

4. Final feelings

Harry Potter, from an abandoned boy, has become a loving and responsible father. This makes me love this character even more because he is not only a person who fights the darkness, but also a person who has overcome difficulties in his own life.

I feel that Harry's growth is not only a physical process, but also an emotional and spiritual journey, where he learns to be a father, a friend, and a human being. This feeling is truly profound and inspiring.

I would love to hear your thoughts on the changes in Harry's character, especially his role as a father. How do you feel about his growth in this book?
